Ford Expedition Trunk being Packed

Make the most of family time with the 2025 Ford Expedition. Ford’s full-size SUV retains everything drivers loved about previous models and introduces more immersive technology and enhanced capabilities. We bring you the highlights of the new Ford Expedition.

If you need a large practical SUV, the fifth-generation Expedition won’t disappoint. From the outside, it looks exactly as you would want a rugged adventure wagon to look. Its distinctive honeycomb grille dominates the front fascia, flanked on each side by stunning signature lighting. Dark 18-inch alloy wheels glide smoothly over every surface while black running boards help everyone clamber aboard.

New Features

Power Upgrade

For 2025, the Expedition receives a power upgrade from a 400-horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. All that extra power means you can load up everything you need for family excursions as this three-row SUV is capable of towing a trailer or camper weighing up to 7,000 pounds, or 9,600 pounds when equipped with a weight-distributing hitch.

Ford Digital Experience

Ford has excelled itself with the tech setup inside the new Expedition. Instead of an instrument cluster hidden behind the steering wheel’s spokes, you now have a beautiful 24-inch panoramic screen resting atop the dashboard, directly in your sight line. With the instrument panel positioned at the bottom edge of the windshield, you get an unencumbered view of important vehicle info, navigation details, and warning messages.

At the center of the dash is the infotainment touchscreen with Wi-Fi hotspot capability which transforms your Expedition into an entertainment and connectivity hub for the whole family. And, rather than taking your hands off the wheel (and your eyes off the road), use your voice to set the navigation system, adjust the climate control, and change the radio station.

Expedition TREMOR

Although Ford has reduced the number of trim levels available for 2025, it has introduced the TREMOR, the most off-road capable Expedition ever built. Negotiating rough terrain is a breeze thanks to 10.6 inches of ground clearance and 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires. A re-tuned suspension ensures every ride is comfortable while the vehicle is driven forward by the 440 horsepower and 5510 pound-feet of torque generated by the high-output V6.

Front skid plates and underbody armor protect the front axle, fuel tank, transfer case, and other components from loose or flying debris. The TREMOR is also given different driving modes to adapt it for adventures off the beaten path, including Rock Crawl to maximize traction and optimize performance at slow speeds.
